Breathtaking underground karst caves, within the Regional Natural Park of the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi. It’s possible to have a guided tour or a speleological experience.
The Frasassi Caves are situated in Gola di Frasassi, at Genga (AN) in Le Marche. They are just 37kms from Gualdo Tadino, accessible within 40 minutes by main road.
Once there, you can see the extraordinary beauty of the place with a guided tour of 75 minutes. Access is easy, with walkways and is1,500 metres long. Recommended clothing in the caves is walking shoes and a fleece or sweater, since the internal temperature is fixed at 14 degrees. Guides are experts employed by the Frasassi Association.
The more intrepid can go further into the caves on a speleological adventure that takes in different zones of the caves, without walkways and artificial light. There are two alternatives for these visits: Blue (2 hours) or Red (3 hours).
